Count Down to China!

The count down begins! We received our Letter of Acceptance, signed it saying we accept Ren as our son, and sent it on to our agency who then sends it to China. Once China receives it they can then send us our Travel approval giving us permission to come to China and get Ren. When our appointment is made at the American Consulate we then know we travel 2 weeks before this date. Does that make sense, ha ha?! This means we will travel in about 5 to 8 weeks time. Hopefully closer to 5!

We will be busy this month applying for Visa's, checking into travel arrangements, finalizing details and such. This few weeks wait will be nothing compared to our past years wait. There is a light at the end of our tunnel now.

Please pray that God prepares Ren's heart for our family. Being 3 and adopted can be hard. He knows enough to know things are changing but not enough to understand it all. It will be so wonderful to meet him and learn all about our little guy. I had to bump his picture to the top of the page again.

“There are starfish stranded on the sands as far as the eye can see, for
miles up the beach. What difference does it make to save just a few?”
Smiling, she bends down and tosses another starfish out over the water
saying serenely, “It makes a difference to that one.”

I am hoping that Ren is holding up the amount of weeks until we get TA. Maybe he knows something we don't. HOPE HOPE HOPE
